The motivation to start the 5k in 2011 was Jared. After receiving a blood stem cell transplant in 2006 his life and ours changed forever,
We will always be thankful for Gift of Life and to his donor Ronnie, because of both we were given extra time together - time to watch our family grow and make memories during a life that was cut too short.
This year's event is bittersweet and hard, but we will show up and honor his memory in every way we can. Thank you in advance to everyone who has supported the 5k in the past and who continues to do so.
